During this disastrous feud between Ukraine and Russia, we as humans care for the innocent lives that are being lost every day. Families are retreating to a so-called "Safe place," which is supposed to deliver the Ukrainians from the wrath of Vladimir Putin. While Zelensky is fighting with the civilians of Ukraine, Putin is sending troops to fight his battle. Putin is committing vile War- Crimes. Unlike Zelensky, Putin is putting up a fight but is not in the fight. This is the first time in our generational history (Gen Z) that we see Zelensky collaborating with civilians and not backing down. He will not give up the fight and he will continue to fight for his country, not just his life.
UF Cares is a fundraiser to help the people of Ukraine. Our mission is to give because we Americans do not have a sense of losing everything. Mr. Stephen Hoff and Jack Timchenko will express their feelings about the excruciating battles fought in Ukraine.
